The location
of your wedding say a lot about you as a couple. Please visit
your location with your florist or decorator if they haven't worked
their before. If you are planning on bringing in an outside caterer,
check with your venue first to make sure it is on their approved
list.

The food is
sadly, what your guests remember most about your wedding. Ask
your caterer if setting up time to do a 'tasting' is a possibility.
Make sure you get what you want for reception, there as so many
options in the area of food, have some kind of an idea when you
make an appointment with your caterer.

Flowers and
decorations for your wedding is very important to creating the
ultimate "feel" of the wedding. Ask to look at pictures
and see what they have done in the past, as for this is very important
to creating the look, and feel of your wedding.

Photography
is a very visual business, you need to look at the work, and make
sure your personalities work together, keep in mind this person
will be with you, your entire wedding day, you need to make sure
that you feel absolutely comfortable with your photographer.

A wedding
video represents your day in a very personal way. Ask for a sample
video prior to selecting your Videographer, again this is a very
visual part of your wedding.

This is another
sad issue, the DJ or Band can make or break your reception. Ask
for references, ask your consultant if they had worked with them
before. Some DJ's may not fit the feelings you may want to portray
at your reception.

A wedding
cake must be both delicious and beautiful. So make sure to look
at pictures of prior wedding cakes they have done, as well as
doing a tasting. A great idea is to order several small cakes,
and then invite some friends over for coffee and cake, and get
their opinions as well!
