DIY Boho Wedding

Crystal and Kaylee's DIY Boho Wedding was filled with special moments and lifelong memories!

Their joy and love for each other just sparkled out of them all day long. We had the best time getting to know Crystal & Kaylee and their bridal party! Check out some of our favorite moments captured throughout the day by Kiki Creates Photography.

The brides rocked the boho vibes perfectly and created all the decor themselves. They even rented a U Haul to transport all of their decor to the venue.

When you're creating & providing all the decor yourself for your big day, you'll want to make sure there's someone you trust to be able to handle the setup at the venue while you get ready and be present on your special day with your family and friends. We loved that the brides trusted us to bring their vision to life.

Did you know we have a special collection specifically geared towards our DIY couples? It provides unlimited hours of wedding day coordination allowing for full set up and breakdown, so you can just relax and enjoy your day while we implement your vision. Check out our Crafty Maker Package!

There were so many details that made Crystal and Kaylee's wedding personalized and special to them!

Our favorite unique details of their day:

  • Kaylee absolutely rocked that rust-colored suit!

  • The brides lined their ceremony walkway with custom created wood pallets full of their love story memories.

  • Instead of using traditional champagne glasses for their toast, the brides used custom printed glasses filled with special cider from the trip they got engaged on!

  • There was a tattoo station for their guests.

  • They did a unity brand! (Our first one!)

Crystal and Kaylee were our first experience with a unity brand, and we loved it! It was the perfect addition to their DIY Boho Wedding! We chose to do the brand after they cut their cake to be able to be by the fire pit for ease of heating and safety.

Wedding-Pro Tips for a Unity Brand:
  • They take longer to heat than you'd expect, even with a propane torch.

  • Use a scrap piece of cardboard to test the brand on to see if it's hot enough before using the framed cowhide.

  • The brand stays hot for a long time after. Be sure to have a safe place to keep it while it cools down.

Crystal left us the sweetest 5-star review!

"We worked with Rachel and her assistant Crysta, and had an awesome experience! Both were wonderful, professional, and handled so much both leading up to our wedding and on the day of. We would highly recommend this duo!" - Crystal
